Recently, the Henan Provincial Key Project Construction Leading Group released the list of the first batch of provincial key construction projects in 2024, and the Haili Magnesium Alloy Lightweight Industrial Park was selected.
In 2024, Henan Province selected the top priority of various industries and released the first batch of 520 provincial key construction projects, with a total investment of about 2.1 trillion yuan and an annual planned investment of about 583 billion yuan.
As a representative of emerging industry projects, Haili Magnesium Alloy Lightweight Industrial Park mainly builds a comprehensive base for research and development and production of magnesium-based new materials, a magnesium-based new materials laboratory, a pilot base and an industrial research institute, and builds an ecological system integrating research and development, bar profiles and end products, with an annual output of 30000 tons of magnesium alloy.
Since it was put into operation last year, Haili magnesium alloy lightweight industrial park has been in full swing, focusing on location characteristics and its own industrial advantages, and developing key technologies and magnesium alloy products for the preparation of new high-strength magnesium alloy materials.
At the same time, Haili New Materials has continuously improved its facilities and conditions, equipped with 1000-3000T large-scale vacuum full-automatic die casting production line and supporting facilities, high-precision processing center and precision quality inspection equipment, providing one-stop full-process solutions for technical pre-research, sample development, product design, process development and verification, and providing support for large-scale production.
In addition, in terms of research and development, Haili Magnesium Alloy Lightweight Industrial Park has cooperated closely with Nobel laureate Professor Shechtman's team and Professor Xu Chunjie's team of Xi 'an University of Technology to set up research platforms such as Haili-Shechtman New Materials Laboratory and Xi 'an University of Technology Automotive Lightweight Magnesium Alloy Engineering Technology Center to carry out research on magnesium-based composite materials, semi-solid die casting and other cooperative topics.
Prior to this, Hebi Science and Technology Bureau of Henan Province released the list of municipal key laboratories in 2023. Haili New Materials was approved as Hebi Key Laboratory of Magnesium-based New Materials Vehicle Parts, and continued to focus on the application of magnesium-based new materials in the fields of new energy for automobiles, rail transit, 5G communication, 3C products, etc.
At present, Haili New Materials has successively signed a number of new energy vehicle die-casting orders, the production of magnesium, aluminum alloy high-pressure die-casting lightweight products supply Beiqi Futian, BYD and other head car companies, a single order amount of more than 10 million.
In the next step, Haili New Materials will take the project construction as an opportunity to accelerate the process of new material research and development and production, and help the construction of new material industry in Henan Province to take off.
