Haili New Materials Approved as Key Laboratory of Hebi City in 2023


 

Recently, Hebi Science and Technology Bureau released the list of municipal key laboratories in 2023, and Haili New Materials was approved as Hebi Key Laboratory of Magnesium-based New Materials Vehicle Parts.

Hebi City Key Laboratory is an important part of the city's scientific and technological innovation system and innovation platform construction, and is the city's scientific and technological innovation base for high-level basic research and applied basic research.

In the field of magnesium-based new materials, Hebi City has unique geographical advantages and has become an important magnesium deep processing production base in the country. In 2022, Haili New Materials will focus on its location characteristics and its own industrial advantages, undertake the first batch of "uncovering the list" projects in Hebi City, and develop key technologies for the preparation of new high-strength magnesium alloy materials and magnesium alloy products.

By increasing R & D investment and improving R & D conditions, Haili New Materials has gradually improved its technological innovation and R & D capabilities, creating a R & D platform with high scientific research activity and strong innovation strength.

Haili Key Laboratory of New Materials focuses on the application of magnesium-based new materials in automotive new energy, rail transit, 5G communications, 3C products and other fields, providing one-stop full-process solutions for technical pre-research, sample development, product design, process development and verification, and providing technical support for large-scale production of enterprises.

At present, the laboratory is equipped with spectrum analyzer, metallographic microscope, Vickers hardness tester, high temperature universal testing machine, salt spray test box, X-ray nondestructive detector, ultrasonic flaw detector, three-coordinate measuring instrument and other testing equipment, which can provide complete testing and analysis for composition analysis, microstructure, room temperature and high temperature mechanical properties, corrosion resistance, internal quality and dimensional accuracy of magnesium, aluminum alloy and other materials.

In terms of team building, Haili New Materials has introduced senior experts and high-end technical personnel, and has worked closely with Nobel laureate Professor Shechtman's team and Professor Xu Chunjie's team of Xi 'an University of Technology to set up research platforms such as Haili-Shechtman New Materials Laboratory and Xi 'an University of Technology Automotive Lightweight Magnesium Alloy Engineering Technology Center to carry out research on magnesium-based composite materials, semi-solid die casting and other cooperative topics.

In the next step, Haili New Materials will continue to rely on the characteristics and advantages of regional magnesium resources, accurately meet the lightweight needs of the industry, further expand the cooperation of industry, university and research, accelerate the landing of basic research results, and promote the high-quality development of regional economy.
